May 2 Opening Weekend! - It's time to pack up your trailer or tenting gear. Camping season is finally here! Those winter months went real slow. It's time to get out and go!

7-9 Mother’s Day Weekend - Mom you've earned this weekend break. Take a leisurely stroll, relax around our scenic pond or cozy up by the fire with a good book. Ice Cream Social.

14-16 Just Chillin’ Weekend - Come for a relaxing weekend and enjoy our natural surroundings. It’s a great time to go on a hike or just sit back and do nothing. Don’t miss our GIANT Bonfire.

21-23 Ghost Stories by the Fire - Join us by the fire for some old fashioned story telling! We'll tell ghost stories of the Hudson Valley, enjoy roasted marshmallows and give campers the chance to share stories of their own camping adventures. Of course we'll finish off the evening with the story of Rip Van Winkle.

28-31 Memorial Day Weekend - This is the first BIG weekend of the 2010 camping season. Come spend your holiday with us and just relax or enjoy our trout fishing, bass fishing, pedal boats, horseshoes, arcade, hayrides, rc racetrack (bring your cars), giant checkers, and movies.

4-6 Get Hooked on Fishing Weekend - Cliff Tienken Professional Bass Fishing Seminar. Bring your fishing pole, tackle box and lucky lures. Practice what you learn from the seminar in our stocked bass pond (catch & release). Also, try your luck at catching trout in our Plattekill Creek.

11-13 Celebrate Summer Weekend - Summer is here! It's time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Go golfing, letterboxing, horseback riding or hiking. Enjoy our rc racetrack (bring your cars), pedal boats, fishing, sightseeing or just kick back and relax.

18-20 Father’s Day Weekend – Dad this is your time to kick back. Bring your remote controlled cars and trucks to join the excitement of racing on our rc racetrack. Fish in our trout stream or stocked bass pond. Enjoy a game of horseshoes or just relax around the campfire. Ice Cream Social.

25-27 Rip Van Winkle Nature Walk – Let your imagination take hold as you explore Rip Van Winkle's woods as he did those many years ago. Take a guided tour of the property and learn about the trees, animals and history of the park property and area. We're going to have to cross the creek for this one so bring your water shoes!

2-5 July 4th Weekend – Parade and Fireworks in the Village of Saugerties. Enjoy pedal boats, fishing, swimming, rc racetrack (bring your cars), arcade, horseshoes, volleyball, giant checkers, playgrounds, hayrides.

Independence Day Celebration Parade & Fireworks-7/4, 11 AM- 9:30 PM, Saugerties

9-11 Basic Survival Skills – Do you know what to do if you get stuck out on a trail at night? What about if you are lost in the woods? This is an introductory seminar for those with no previous outdoor knowledge or skills. It introduces you to what you need, how to use what you have and how to make good decisions to help you survive in a pinch. Ice Cream Social ($).

16-18 Old West Cook-Off – Cook up some western grub and enter our Cook-Off Contest. Here's an idea... try doing it the old-fashion way, over an open campfire, what great flavor! Categories of Judging: Best Meat, Chili, and Dessert. Cook-off participants sign up at the office before 12 noon on Saturday for instructions. Judging begins 4:30 pm. Potluck dinner, open to everyone, 5:00 pm.

23-25 Christmas In July – Bring your holiday spirit and decorations, too. Site decorating contest and kids contests. Don't be asleep when Santa comes through the park Saturday evening. Night time hayride to enjoy all the decorated sites.

31 Blood Drive – Hudson Valley Blood Services - 8:30 am - 12:30 pm - In Rec Hall. Be a hero! In as little as an hour you can make the difference between life and death for someone. Hudson valley Blood Services will be here accepting blood donations. After you donate, join us for a BBQ by the pool.

6-8 Pet First Aid - Learn what to do for your cat or dog immediately when they become sick or injured before you can get to a veterinarian. Learn how to help keep your furry friend healthy. Learn what to do when help can't wait. ($$)

13-15 Ice Cream Social Weekend - Summer goes quickly so enjoy it while you can. Take a hike on one of the many beautiful, scenic hiking trails in the area. Go letterboxing, golfing, horseback riding, shopping, or sightseeing. Enjoy pedal boats, fishing. horseshoes, or just relax by the campfire. Ice Cream Social ($).

20-22 Kid's Day - A day dedicated to kids! Important health and safety info for kids (and parents too!) sprinkled with fun activities and crafts. The day will end with a movie and popcorn in the Rec Hall. Children under 5 must be accompanied by a parent.

Club Rip's Casino Weekend – Feeling lucky? Place your bets! Rip's Bucks won't make you rich but you'll have a terrific time. Use your play money winnings to bid on prizes.


27-29 Relaxation Weekend - Take it easy this weekend and enjoy camping with the family before school gets going again. Enjoy an old time Country Fair. Go fishing, take a relaxing walk, read a book, or just sit by the campfire.

10-12 Harvest Weekend - Come savor the magnificent views of the Hudson Valley. It's a great time to get out and enjoy this colorful season.
