2-4 Opening Weekend! - Camping season is finally here. It’s time to enjoy the great outdoors. See old friends and make new ones.

9-11 Mother’s Day Weekend - No one is more special than mom so bring her for a special weekend. Pocketbook scavenger hunt. Ice Cream Social ($). Mom eats free when she brings the family.

16-18 Just Chillin’ Weekend - Come for a relaxing weekend and enjoy our natural surroundings. It’s a great time to go on a hike or just sit back and do nothing. Don’t miss our GIANT Bonfire.

23-26 Memorial Day Weekend - This is the first BIG weekend of the 2008 camping season. Come spend your holiday with us and just relax or enjoy our trout fishing, bass fishing, paddle boats, horseshoes, arcade, hayrides, rc racetrack (bring your cars), giant checkers, bingo and movies.

30-6/1 Get Hooked on Fishing Weekend - Professional Seminar and Tournament. Bring your fishing pole, tackle box and lucky lures and enter the Fishing Tournament at our bass pond (catch & release). Cliff Tienken Bass Fishing Seminar. All ages welcome to participate. Try your luck at catching trout in our Plattekill Creek.


June

6-8 3 R’s Weekend (Relaxing, Refreshing, Respite) - Enjoy the wonderful, warm days of June. Kick back and unwind. Take a hike on one of the many beautiful, scenic hiking trails in the area. Go letterboxing, golfing, horseback riding, shopping, or sightseeing. Enjoy fishing, horseshoes, paddleboats. You decide what renews you after a long week at work.

13-15 Father’s Day Weekend – It’s dad’s special weekend. Bring your remote controlled cars and trucks to join the excitement of racing on our rc track. Fish in our trout stream or stocked bass pond. Enjoy a game of horseshoes. Ice Cream Social ($). Dad eats free when he brings the family.

20-22 Bingo Bonanza – Bingo all weekend long for our bingo loving campers. Various bingo games including candy bar bingo (admission 1 candy bar), kid’s toy bingo (age 14 & under, admission 1 unwrapped toy with at least a $5.00 value), swap bingo (admission 1 wrapped prize), adult bingo. Be sure to bring your lucky charms.

27-29 Survivor Weekend – Do you have what it takes to survive? Come join a tribe and see if you have the talent to be the last survivor standing. Wacky team and individual challenges that are sure to make you smile.


July

3-6 July 4th Weekend – Parade and Fireworks in the Village of Saugerties. At the campground you can enjoy our rc racetrack (bring your cars), paddleboats, fishing, arcade, hiking, horseshoes, volleyball, giant checkers, swimming, 2 playgrounds, hayrides and movies.

11-13 Italian Festival Weekend – Games, races, music, fun for all. Bring your favorite Italian dish for our pot luck dinner.

18-20 Old West Weekend & Cook-Off – Bring your snakeskin boots, cowboy hats and saddle up for a good time. Does cooking over a campfire improve food flavor? Make your best dishes and enter our Cook-Off Contest. Categories of Judging: Best Meat, Beans, Potatoes, Bread, Dessert. All Cook-off Participants meet at 8:30 am Sat in Rec. Hall for instructions. Judging begins 4:00 pm. Potluck dinner Sat. 5:00 pm. Enter our Best Dressed Cowboy & Cowgirl Contest for children and adults. Bring your squirt gun and lasso. Games, competitions, and country music.

25-27 Christmas In July – Bring your holiday spirit and decorations, too. Site decorating contest, games, visit from Santa.


August

1-3 Lazy Days of Summer Weekend - Get out and enjoy these beautiful summer days. Go for a hike, letterboxing, horseback riding or golfing. Enjoy our rc track (bring your cars), paddleboats, fishing, swimming, sightseeing, or just kick back and do nothing. Ice Cream Social ($).

8-10 Pirate’s Weekend - Ahoy maties! Brush up on your pirate lingo and prepare to set sail on an awesome adventure. Lots of pirate fun and games. Treasure hunt. Pirate costume contest for children & adults. Join us for a swashbucklin’ good time.

15-17 Hawaiian Luau Potluck Dinner - for our seasonal campers. Put on grass skirts, festive shirts & get ready to eat and party. Bring a dish to share and your luau spirit. Dinner 5 pm Sat. Please sign-up by Aug 8.

22-24 Family Games Weekend – Enjoy Bingo Friday night. Join fellow campers Saturday night for a game of “Name That Tune”.

29-9/1 Labor Day Weekend – Come and enjoy the last long weekend of summer. Enjoy our trout fishing, bass fishing, paddle boats, horseshoes, hayrides, bingo, rc racetrack (bring your cars), giant checkers, arcade and movies.


September

5-7 R & R Weekend - Hudson Valley Wine Festival. Come savor the magnificent view of the Hudson Valley. It’s a great time to get out and enjoy this colorful season.

12-14 Harvest Weekend - Visit a local farm and pick your own apples, raspberries, and pumpkins. Have more fall fun next weekend. Make a reservation for next weekend, leave your camping unit right on the site with no charge for storage.

19-21 Soup’s On – Enjoy beautiful autumn in the country. Bring your favorite soup or another dish to share at our pot luck dinner Saturday night.

26-28 Fall Foliage Weekend – Garlic Festival in the Village of Saugerties. Come and enjoy a beautiful fall weekend.


October

3-5 Halloween Weekend – Bring your decorations and costumes. Costume parade, trick or treating. site decorating contest, haunted trail.

10-13 Columbus Day Weekend – The last big camping weekend of 2008. Don’t miss our GIANT Bonfire.
